The main characters of my comic, Nebulous, which is included in the Oath Anthology of New Superheroes. The Oath Anthology features LGBT superhero comics made by LGBT writers and artists. Every comic is all-ages appropriate, suitable for children and adults alike.

The Kickstarter ends on September 16, which is only a few weeks away!! If possible, please support the Kickstarter. We are more than halfway funded and it would be great to see this be a thing!

Hey everyone, I figured everyone here would be interested in this new all-ages SUPER-GAY, SUPER-HERO anthology called Oath.

Oath is queer superhero comic anthology by queer creators, creating representation we deserve in a book everyone can read.

Also, one of my comics is in it!! EEEee, I’m so excited! :D

The book will be a black-and-white, 240+ page comic anthology, appropriate for any reader old enough to tackle standard superhero genre angst and action.

I encourage everyone to pitch in and support us through kickstarter! The kickstarter ends on September 16, 2015. If you want to read more about the project, check out Oath’s tumblr blog.

She blasts bad guys with her laser gun when Wonder Chicken scares them to her and if she needs to she also has a big sword and kungfu to use. Once the job is done then they both fly away to the next place they are needed! Her boots make her run super fast and she wont get bad guy guts on her!

Super Alice is hella bad-ass. Eat your heart out, American McGee!

Hey, everyone, just a little update on the comic I’m working on with Ted. We’re still trying to get this comic off the ground, but in the mean time here’s another short comic we did! We decided to give the electric cowboy Boltslinger a short comic since he didn’t get a chance to appear in the 15-page comic.

You can keep track of our progress at spark-comic.tumblr

Hey so, sorry to make yet another off-topic post! I don’t plan on crowding Little Girls Are Better At Designing Superheroes Than You with posts about Spark. I’d like to keep this blog the way it’s always been, with photos of girls in totally awesome hero (and villain!) costumes, and artistic renditions of characters wearing those costumes.

That said, just wanted to clarify a few things about Spark. Although Ted and I were totally psyched about all the people asking where to put their money, it’s not a crowdfunded project or a webcomic. So, there is no kickstarter or donation button or anything like that. Ted and I are going the old-fashioned route and pitching it out to book publishers in hopes that one might pick it up! We just wanted to share this 15-page short on tumblr for free because we figured the people who follow this blog would like it. And you did, so yaaay!

However, if you’d like to follow the project, see what we’re doing, and look at little bits of concept art and character descriptions and stuff, then you can check out spark-comic.tumblr, where we will be posting Spark stuff from now on. We might even make a new short comic, who knows!

Thanks for all your love & support~ :D

Hey, everyone! This is the creator of Little Girls Are Better At Designing Superheroes Than You, here with a post I thought you all might like. Writer Ted Anderson and I have made a pitch for a superhero comic!

The comic is about nine-year-old Lucia Marquez-Miller, who loves engineering, and uses her telekinetic powers to build and take things apart with her mind. She calls this power her spark!

As Spark, the world’s youngest superhero, she’s a junior member of a superhero team while also trying to live a normal life. Can Lucia juggle her friends and family while also saving the world from supervillains?

We’re posting a 15-page standalone comic here on tumblr to give readers an idea of what the book would be like.
